President

Bill has 36 years of construction experience. Prior to starting LWG Construction, he was vice president at Tico Construction Company for 10 years. Bill received a Construction Management Certificate from San Jose State and supported himself through college as a carpenter. His first major project was to install a molten salt nitriding line at a cost of $6M, while working as the director of facilities at RockShox, which was the first of its kind in Santa Clara County. Some of Bill’s interests outside of construction include motocross, racing cars and spending time in Lake Tahoe.

Office Manager- Director of Special Projects

Emily has worked in the construction industry for six years beginning in 2013, taking two years off to pursue one of her passions and obtain her cosmetology license. She grew up in San Jose and attended San Jose City College. Growing up, her father had always been in construction, and she became interested in the field. Emily lives in the Bay Area and when she is not working in the office she is usually doing hair or enjoying outdoor activities like hiking, and boating.

Senior Project Manager- Director of Sales

Sam has been with LWG for four years. Previously Sam worked for Keehn Construction in Grass Valley, CA and Energy Management Services in Dubai, UAE. He is from Grass Valley, CA, went to San Francisco State University for his BA and American University in Washington, D.C. for his Masters, specializing in LEED Certification and local building regulations, graduating in 2007. Sam has established relationships with clients and vendors around the Bay Area and has delivered many successful projects. His golf game is a work in progress. Sam lives in San Jose and is newly married with a recent addition to the family. Kane the Hurricane was born at the end of March, happy and healthy.

Karen Fornash is proud to be a member of the leadership team for LWG Construction. With a career marked by success in business operations, project management and business development, Karen’s strengths lie in translating organizational vision and objectives into strong business outcomes. Over the course of the past 20 years, Karen has been credited with driving growth and guiding organizations through significant change to strategically positioning them for competitive advantage. Raised in Africa and educated in England, Karen’s passion for travel was born at an early age. When not traveling, Karen enjoys cooking and entertaining with her husband and two dogs in Willow Glen.
